1904 FC Honors YMCA OF San Diego County as Nonprofit of the Match
Recognition comes in final home match of NISA Fall Showcase Season
San Diego 1904 FC will recognize The YMCA of San Diego County at its final home match of the NISA Fall Showcase season against the Los Angeles Force on Nov. 2. The recognition comes as part of the club’s Nonprofit Partner of the Match program, a season-long awareness campaign which spotlights local organizations making a positive impact in San Diego’s communities.
“The YMCA of San Diego County is honored to be recognized as the 1904 FC Nonprofit Partner of the Match,” said Baron Herdelin-Doherty, President and CEO of The YMCA of San Diego County. “At The Y, we’re committed to strengthening our communities by connecting all people to their potential, purpose and each other.”
The YMCA of San Diego County offers local families a wide scope of services dedicated to improving the quality of life of its members through youth programs, fitness facilities, and social responsibility workshops. As the largest regional YMCA association in the United States, the organization reaches close to 500,000 county residents and employs over 5,500 San Diegans.
As a club created by San Diego for San Diego, 1904 FC recognizes and thanks the YMCA of San Diego County for all its work in benefit of local youth and families.
1904 FC’s match against the Los Angeles Force is scheduled to kickoff at 7:04 p.m. (19:04 hours) at SDCCU Stadium in Mission Valley. A victory would give San Diego a ticket to the conference Final against the Cal United Strikers on November 9 at the Irvine Championship Stadium.
