1904 FC Shows Off Offense in Temecula Friendly

In a game jam-packed with scoring opportunities, San Diego 1904 FC defeated NPSL side Temecula FC 7-1 in a weekend friendly hosted at the red bird’s home ground of Chaparral High School this Saturday night.

Brandon Zambrano (#14) light up the visitor score box with a 26-yard blast for the first goal of the night for an overall two-game scoring streak. Shortly after, forward Kazuma Suzuki (#36) doubled 1904’s lead after receiving a pass from the right wing. Nelson Flores Blanco (#11) piled on the third goal of the night after an exciting run through Temecula’s defenders to get in front of the goal.

San Diego’s forwards saved their best for last, with Moe Espinoza (#10) putting away two in a row for a partial score of 5-0 at the end of the first half and Lorenzo Ramirez Jr. (#9) bagging two goals of his own for 1904 FC’s sixth and seventh goals of the night in the second half. 


Temecula scored their only goal of the night after 1904 FC goalie Marcus Norris deflected a penalty which lead to a goal inside the box. 

The match served as preparation for 1904 FC’s upcoming home match against the Los Angeles Force on November 2 at SDCCU Stadium.
